1. Lay four lengths on the ground. Bring together the ends at one end, allowing the other end to splay out. Fasten the ‘together’ ends with the wire, using the pliers to tighten quite tight.
2. Measure how long the horizontal stays need to be, and snip the bamboo with the pliers to the correct length.
3. One at a time, fasten the horizontal lengths to the vertical lengths at each point they meet. Use the pliers to tighten at the end.
4. Once you have finished fastening each join, the climber is complete. Push into the soil in your garden bed. Hammer in gently if required.
