They Call Me Doctor Worm

As a wedding gift, we received a worm farm from Adam’s sister – an ingenious wedding present if you ask me as it will continue to ‘give’ to us for years and years to come.  It’s a compact little contraption that sits on our back deck.  We feed the worms with our fruit and vegetable scraps and in return, once a week we retrieve a few litres of nutrient rich ‘worm tea’ to fertlise the garden with.  And once every few months, when the worms have eaten their way through a whole level of our food waste, we have the most incredibly nutrient soil to spread through the veggie patch.  A mutually beneficial transaction that I’m very happy to be a part of.
