In The Bag

As Jack is at a stage where he loves putting things into, and taking things out of, any type of bag, I thought I would make some colourful drawstring bags for us to take on holidays with us in the hope that they will entertain him for a small amount of time.  I didn’t use a pattern, but measured and cut out three rectangles from some leftover material and sewed them together.  I used ribbon for the drawstring and labelled each bag with fabric markers.  The result is pretty cute, maybe optimistic that they’ll assist in any way on the 20 hour flight, but pretty cute nonetheless.
